Current reward mechanisms

This table describes the current structure of each published program, not a promised return for a particular player. Market restrictions and eligibility can change what is available.

What the biggest advertised rate misses

GGPoker published an Ocean Rewards ceiling of up to 80% cashback when the scheme replaced Fish Buffet in January 2026. A ceiling is not the typical return for every account. PokerStars separately describes 15% to 60% back via its rewards levels and applicable higher-volume tiers. Those two ranges are based on different mechanics, so ranking them by the top number alone would mislead.

partypoker's published cashback page describes weekly qualification and opt-in requirements. CoinPoker combines leaderboards and rewards that may not equal a predictable fixed percentage. Betsson advertises a poker loyalty cashback program, although its promotions directory is not enough to calculate one universal return. Global Poker's social/sweepstakes format should not be merged with ordinary cash-game rakeback figures.

One way to compare two real offers

A cost-first comparison

Use net fees, not slogans

Suppose you would pay $160 in fees at one room with $32 of usable rewards, and $210 at another with $63 of usable rewards. The net fees are $128 and $147 respectively. The higher gross reward does not produce the lower playing cost.

Where you can actually play

Location changes the answer. Poker regulation, operator availability and reward rules differ between US states, Canadian provinces, the UK, EU markets and other countries. An internationally advertised program may not apply to the version of a room available to you. Confirm legality and local terms directly with the operator before creating an account.

Do not confuse archived brands with available rooms

Full Tilt Poker, Absolute Poker and Hollywood Poker still appear in older rakeback searches. They do not belong in a live promotional ranking. Our archive page explains what happened to those room names.

What makes one room suitable for a particular player?

A player who rarely reaches a weekly rewards threshold may value a simpler base-fee structure over a larger conditional offer. Someone who plays enough to finish reward chests may have different results from a player who stops with an incomplete progress bar. A tournament player should inspect tournament fees and ticket restrictions separately from cash-game rake. Geography is a hard constraint: an offer that cannot legally be used in your jurisdiction is not a comparable option.

We do not award a universal #1 room. The net-fee comparison shows how to test two programs with numbers from your own account. Our editorial method explains why a missing fixed rate is not treated as zero.
